The launching ceremony of La Francophonie (the French Launguage Festival) was held on Mar. 12 at T:Union in Guangzhou, featuring creative French short films and speech by Consuls General of Belgium, Canada, France, Spain and Switzerland in Guangzhou. Linguists, writers, dramatists and musicians from the four countries of Belgium, Canada, France and Switzerland will together present a series of events in French for the interest of local audiences.

Annie-Claude Motron, French as a Foreign Language applied linguistic specialist, will hold a linguistic lecture untitled “the ten words of Francophonie 2010”, organised by the Alliance française of Guangzhou.
Annie-Claude Motron taught until November, 2008 corrective phonetic and morphophonology in the Sorbonne Cours of French language and civilization. She also holds lectures in teaching French as Foreign Language methodology for Robert de Sorbon Foundation.
